Meet Bernie Hung: the lawyer who did the due diligence
For 30 years I've built a career in law, advising on intellectual property, regulation and risk. I spent eight years in global luxury, so I know the difference between a beautiful story and genuine substance. I'm also a certified coach and published author.
In January 2025 a health scare stopped me in my tracks, and my income dropped almost overnight. That was when I saw the flaw in the traditional business I had built: it only worked when I did. I started looking for something that could keep moving, even when I couldn't.
A friend from my luxury-industry days introduced me to RIMAN. I wasn't instantly sold, so I did what lawyers do and investigated. I found plant variety protection rights in Korea and the US for RIMAN's core ingredient, grown on RIMAN's own Smart Farm on Jeju Island, and a business model attached to it. That is why I'm here.

Questions people ask me
Is RIMAN a pyramid scheme?
It is the first question I wondered, and as a lawyer it is the due diligence I did before I put my name to anything. RIMAN is a direct selling company: real products are sold to real customers, and independent Business Builders earn through retail sales and team activity under a published compensation plan. I encourage you to read RIMAN's official materials, ask me anything on a call, and decide for yourself. No income is guaranteed. "Direct selling", "network marketing" and "MLM" are well-established business models of over 130 years.
I don't have time.
Most people I speak to feel the same. A RIMAN business is designed around a small, realistic weekly rhythm alongside your career and family. On a call we work out what is realistic for you. If now is not the right time, that is a perfectly good answer. Perhaps when you really see the business opportunity, you'll make time for it.
I have no experience in skincare, sales or business.
You do not need any. I had never sold anything before RIMAN. New Business Builders get onboarding, a 7-day activation path, a 90-day launch plan and two co-hosted first events with me.
I already have loads of skincare.
Then the Radiance Discovery Experience is for you. You do not need more products, you need a routine that makes sense for your skin. Bring what you use now and we will look at it together. Everyone's skin is different and individual results vary.
Do I have to buy something at a K-popup?
No. It is free, relaxed and there is no obligation to buy.
Do I have to become a Business Builder to be a customer?
No. Customers can stay customers for as long as they like. The business conversation is separate and only happens if you ask for it.
